ACE scholarships

As part of the collaboration between the Association for Chemistry and the Environment (ACE) and LECO company, we are glad to announce three scholarships (LECO Stipendium) for MSc and PhD students as well as early career scientists (up to 5 years after the PhD defence) to participate at the 24^th European Meeting on Environmental Chemistry (EMEC24) in Alicante, Spain, from the 26^th-29^th November 2024.

The (LECO Stipendium) scholarship covers the conference fee as well as travel/accommodation costs of up to 500 €.

Candidates should send an application to the Scholarship Officer, Dr. Nuno Ratola (nrneto@fe.up.pt) until 1^st of September 2024.

The application has to include:
• Abstract submitted to the conference
• Curriculum Vitae
• Current certificate of enrolment
• Letter of recommendation from a supervisor

The selection of up to three candidates will be based on past academic achievements (scientific publications, participation in funded projects, etc.), the relevance of the proposed abstract and national quotas.
